I need to write about Portland AND SF

I can’t really report too much right now – as we are already back at our hotel and ready to settle in. But, we drove from Crescent City this morning on US101 to SF. Our goal last night was to make it from Portland to CC – and we did it, despite the hallucinations. We stayed at “America’s Best Value” mot-hell, a 50’s style motel that you probably stayed at with your grandparent’s on vacation. I didn’t love it, but I did enjoy the high-powered shower head. It was the only shower that didn’t leave me with Kramer-hair when he had his low power. SF is pretty hoity toity. I liked Seattle much better so far. The traffic sucked on the way in, but we did have great sushi at Sushi Rock!
