forgot to post last night…
Long day yesterday, but I did not fail to hit the gym. Having a workout buddy is so key – especially when they are a skinny little gal who can barely do 40 sit-ups or lift 5lb weights. It’s going to be fun to see her progress, and I like to push her – which in turn, pushes me. Yesterday we did WIND SPRINTS (circa 1991 basketball conditioning!) & ran around the gym twice in addition to our usual aerobic activity. We also did 40 sit-ups on the bouncy ball & plenty of reps on the arms.
Then afterwards we headed to Tarantula Billiards for a lesson on the finer art of playing pool like a champ. We learned a TON and I might just have to practice this weekend.
Since I was waiting for RB to meet me at the Shag Lounge below, and I was starving, we all went over to Little India for some badass Indian grub. I had the lamb korma which was mighty fine. It’s been a while since I’ve had Indian food, and I’m glad I went b/c it rekindled my love for it. Now I must have it more! It’s probably not the healthiest food to eat right now, but if it’s in moderation I don’t think it’ll throw me off my fitness goals.
Serendipitously enough, as I was heading into the Tarantula, I saw on the Shag marquee that Verse was having a CD release party. He’s an MC that’s pretty good and was supposed to work with pH10, but like so many ppl we’ve met in CO, flaked on it. He understandably has his own thing going on.
Looking forward to today going by fast and enjoying some sashimi for dinner tonight.

I thought Indian food was good for you! Just load up on more of the spicy veggie dishes and a little less of the meats, maybe? Sounds so yummy. Love the blog– good luck with the new fitness routine!
